DATA WE COLLECT FROM YOU

There are several types of data that we may process and collect through your use of Wanfuteng ‘s services. Wanfuteng will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your Data is treated securely and in accordance with this Policy.

  • “Content Data “- Any data that you provided to Wanfuteng ‘s that is not any other data type. Example: a user fills out a Wanfuteng form and submits the form.
  • “Contact Data” - Data that you have provided to us for us to communicate with you. Example: your name and e-mail address that you entered upon signing up to a Wanfuteng Bank account, disclosed to us by sending us an email or requesting to be contacted.
  • “Feedback Data” - Data that you have provided to us in order to provide feedback to us. Example: your participation in a survey or a complaint that you may have filed to us.
  • “Usage Data” - Data that is generated upon your use of Wanfuteng’s services. E.g.: a log file or record containing information about login attempts by a specific user, time and location of a form submission use.
  • “Personal Data”- is data connected to or associated with a natural person that can be used to identify that specific natural person. Sometimes we’re legally required to collect your personal data when required by Law or court or tribunal order such as Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Act, Tax Administration Act, etc.

Some examples of Personal Data that we may collect are:

  • personal details (e.g., name, contact details, residential address, date of birth, identity card/passport details, and/or and education details);
  • specimen signature(s);
  • financial details (e.g., income, expenses, and/or credit history);
  • image, voice recordings of our conversations with you or CCTV recordings collected in branches and/or cameras on ATM machines;
  • employment details (e.g., occupation, directorships and other positions held, employment history, salary, and/or benefits);
  • tax responsibilities and insurance information;

e.g. Information relating to your tax responsibilities, so that we can comply with our requirements, and obligations under the various relevant and applicable worldwide tax reporting and compliance requirements to which we must comply.

  • information about your risk profile, investments, investment objectives, knowledge and experience and/or business interests and assets;
  • banking information (e.g., account numbers and banking transactions);
  • personal opinions made known to us (e.g., feedback or responses to surveys).

DATA WE COLLECT FROM OTHER PARTIES

In some instances, we may collect information about you that’s publicly available, such as data from telephone directories or other websites.

There may be occasions when we gather personal information about you from a third party, including:

  • Organisations we have an arrangement with – to jointly offer products.
  • Organisations we exchange information with – so we can either promote or provide products and services.
  • Brokers and other parties – who may have introduced you to Wanfuteng.
  • Data from Wanfuteng Website, e.g., your use of the website which help us better tailor our service to you.

USING AND SHARING YOUR PERSONAL DATA

  • Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, rules, directives, orders, instructions and requests from any local or foreign authorities, including regulatory, governmental, tax and law enforcement authorities or other authorities;
  • Comply with reporting and record obligation: financial reporting, regulatory reporting, management reporting, risk management (including monitoring credit exposures), audit and record keeping purposes;
  • Working with other organizations regarding the promotion or provision of a product or service.
  • Marketing product and services using your data to inform you of new or existing products or services; or disclose your information to business partners so they can tell you about a product or service.
  • Considering any concerns or complaints you raise against Wanfuteng – or managing any legal action between you and Wanfuteng.

MINORS

Wanfuteng do not provide services to anyone under the age of 18 (“Minor”).

We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 18. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that a Minor has provided us with Personal Data, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected Personal Data from a Minor without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that information.

IP ADDRESSES

We may collect information about your computer including where available your IP address, operating system and browser type, for system administration or for our own commercial purposes. This is statistical data about our users’ browsing actions and patterns.

Your Personal Data will be stored either in paper files or electronically in Vanuatu or overseas notably Hong Kong either by the Wanfuteng or its external service providers. We use a range of physical and electronic data security measures to protect information from loss and unauthorised use, access, modification or disclosure.

Personal Data collected through use of our online banking services is passed through a secure server using encryption technology to help ensure that this information is protected when sent over the internet. All stored personal information is protected from unauthorised access through the use of recognised security proceduresencryption, firewalls, antivirus, passwords.

TRANSFER OF PERSONAL DATA

Trans-Border Data Transfers

Your information, including Personal Data, may be transferred to— and maintained on — computers, servers, clouds located outside of your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ than those from your jurisdiction.

We may transfer your personal information to third- party service providers located outside the European Economic Area (EEA), Australia, New Zealand, Vanuatu.

  • Other Service providers may be added from time to time and the Privacy Policy will change to reflect this.

We do not share your Personal Data with third parties, except for carrying out our services whether located in Vanuatu or elsewhere. We do this only to carry out our agreement with you, for our legitimate interest or when we have your consent. A legal obligation or similar disclosure to another company, regulator can also be a reason for us to share Personal Data with third parties.

Applicability of this Privacy Policy to third parties

When you navigate away from Wanfuteng Website to websites or apps controlled by third parties; you leave Wanfuteng’s Website at which point this Privacy Policy no longer applies. YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE A WARNING WHEN YOU LEAVE WANFUTENG’S WEBSITE. If you use third-party products available through Wanfuteng, this Privacy Policy does not control how they collect, use, and disclose data. DATA SECURITY

We ‘ll protect your Personal Data from misuse and loss, unauthorised access, modification and disclosure
